Leigh Matthews believes Clarkson deserves compensation over Hawthorn racism saga

The Hawthorn racism saga first came to light in 2022, and more than four years later, recordings that Alastair Clarkson and Chris Fagan have been revealed.

Speaking on 3AW Football, Leigh Matthews says Clarkson would be justified in seeking compensation, given the impact the saga had on him as a person and as a coach.

“Right now, if Alastair Clarkson decided to go to court, I would say good on you mate, because you deserve compensation,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.
