Leigh Matthews: Big Victorian clubs ‘got nothing’ out of Opening Round

Leigh Matthews has claimed the big Victorian clubs “got nothing” out of Opening Round interstate to kick off the 2024 AFL season.

While talking with Sam McClure on 3AW’s Wide World of Sports, Matthews admitted he’d be “really surprised” if Collingwood, Carlton, Richmond and Melbourne wanted to be involved again next year.
