Leigh Matthews finds it ‘disturbing’ that the AFL’s best players aren’t paid the most

As the years go on and the salary cap increases, AFL player contracts will continue to rise, with players such as Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera on $2m this season to play for the Saints.

On 3AW Football, Leigh Matthews finds it “disturbing” that the best players in the competition aren’t paid as much as other players.

“It always concerns me the way our system works,”  Matthews said on 3AW Football.
