Leigh Matthews had two premiership captains in his time as a coach.

Tony Shaw led Matthews’ Magpies to the flag in 1990, while Michael Voss led the Lions to a famous hat-trick from 2001-03.

So when Voss, now a Power assistant, was on line with Tony and Leigh on 3AW Football before Port’s clash with the Dogs, the question had to be asked.

Who’s the greatest captain Leigh ever had?

“I had to give the nod to Vossy,” Lethal said.

“I’ve got to be honest – he won three times as many premierships!”
