Leigh Matthews lets rip AGAIN on those who say North Melbourne should have tanked

Leigh Matthews has doubled-down on his criticism of those who thought North Melbourne should have deliberately tried to lose their final match of the season to secure the No.1 draft pick, describing it as “absolute lunacy” and not supported by any logic.

The greatest player of all-time took aim at the “draft industry” that had emerged in the AFL in recent years and said he was “disturbed” by the number of fans who “fell” for the talking points floated.

Matthews said he “couldn’t help but blow up” at a North Melbourne on Saturday, who rang 3AW to vent about the Roos winning.
