Leigh Matthews says David Koch’s comment was ‘over the top’

Leigh Matthews has poured cold water on the hype around the AFL’s secret training sessions.

The AFL staged match simulation activities for Hawthorn and Brisbane, which Port chairman David Koch told 3AW gave them “special treatment”.

But Matthews said he thinks Koch went “over the top”.

“It’s not as if this is a different sport all of a sudden,” Lethal said.

“We can all visualise what happens.

“It’s not that complicated, really.”
