Leigh Matthews: The game is starting to ‘move past’ Tom Hawkins and Charlie Dixon

Leigh Matthews has stated the game is starting to “move past” Tom Hawkins and Charlie Dixon after observing the game down in Geelong on Friday night.

The football great said “there’s an internal battle going on within the mind” of the two big key forwards.

“They’ve never been runners, they’ve been big powerful men, but the game is starting to move past them I think,” Matthews said.
