Leigh Matthews’ view on a send-off rule in the AFL

Leigh Matthews has given his thoughts on a potential send-off rule in the AFL.

The AFL great has been wanting the rule to be introduced “for a few years now” after the incident where Jeremy Cameron clipped Harris Andrews back in 2018.

It comes after Richmond ruckman Toby Nankervis bumped Sydney’s Jake Lloyd last night, putting Lloyd out for the rest of the game.
