Leigh Matthews weighed in on Dylan Shiel’s ‘very dangerous’ shove that led to scary collision

Essendon veteran Dylan Shiel is in hot water after he dangerously shoved Geelong’s Mark O’Connor into teammate Luamon Lual, who was in the air.

On 3AW Football, Leigh Matthews weighed in on the scary collision and whether Shiel should be suspended.

“I think it’s very dangerous,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.

“When you’re pushing an opponent into contact, I think it’s something to be avoided and should be penalised.”
