Liam Jones to miss the rest of the season with throat fracture

Liam Jones won’t play again this year.

The Carlton defender suffered a nasty injury against Richmond on Sunday.

He’s got a non-displaced fracture of the larynx in his throat.

Jones spent Sunday night in hospital.

While he doesn’t require surgery, the Blues advised on Monday he wouldn’t be playing again this year.
