FULL TIME

Collingwood has come from the clouds to beat West Coast by eight 8 points.

The Eagles led by 16 points as the final quarter ticked into time on, but the Pies ran home fast with four late goals.

This was despite finishing with Darcy Moore and Travis Varcoe off injured.

Richo and Lingy pointed to costly errors by Lewis Jetta and Elliot Yeo that could have put the Eagles beyond reach.

“They blew a game they should have won,” Richo said.

THE WARM-UP

West Coast has another chance to chip away at their reputation that they struggle away from home.

But while the Pies’ finals chances may be shot, they won’t be handing the points over to the visitors on Sunday.

With the pressure off, the Pies may be free to play a bit more instinctively.

Will they release the pressure valve for another week? Or can the Eagles keep their Top 4 dream alive?
