‘Lots of action to play out’: Reporter provides insight into latest drama at Essendon
Channel Nine chief football reporter, Tom Morris, has provided insight into the latest news at Essendon, after David Barham stepped down as president.
Ex-player Andrew Welsh has stepped into the top job, but Morris thinks there’s still “lots of action to play out”.
“I still believe there’s going to be some agitations,” Morris said on Wide World of Sports.

“The board is behind Brad Scott, I don’t think Brad Scott’s going anywhere for the moment.
“There’s no doubt as well that there are people behind the scenes, through no fault of his own, that are pushing (James) Hird’s name in some capacity for down the track.”
