Luke Hodge will be playing at Brisbane next season, Mitch Cleary says.

The AFL world was thrown into a spin on Wednesday night when the Lions released a statement, confirming they were speaking with the Hawthorn legend about playing on.

The Sportsday newsbreaker says it’s a certainty.

“It’s going to happen,” Cleary said.

He said it would be a two-year deal, with a coaching element included.
