Mark McVeigh addresses his full-time coaching prospects, as well as those of James Hird

Interim GWS coach Mark McVeigh says he’ll definitely apply for the job full-time, if the Giants ask him.

McVeigh joined 3AW on Wednesday night.

“If they ask me to apply, I will, there’s no doubt about that,” he said.

He also answered questions about whether James Hird, who is currently helping him in the coaching box at GWS, had any interest in coaching again full-time.

McVeigh also shared an amusing text he received from Leon Cameron, who he replaced in the role, about a recent positional change.
