Mason Cox in talks with multiple clubs as he searches for AFL lifeline

Mason Cox has confirmed he remains in ongoing discussions with AFL clubs as he looks to extend his career.

The 34-year-old was told earlier this week that his time at Collingwood was over, bringing his 11-year stint at the club to a close.

Speaking on 3AW Football, Cox said he was in talks with several clubs ahead of next season.

“I’m still open to talking to clubs and have been talking to a few,” he said.

“I’ll leave a lot of it up to my manager and him doing stuff behind the scenes.”
