Master Grocers president weighs in on supermarket inquiry recommendations
The president of Master Grocers has weighed in on the recommendations made by an inquiry into price gouging by supermarkets.
Lincoln Wymer says it would be difficult to “balance the recommendations”.
“I’m not too sure how they’d get that [paying suppliers more] across the line, because if we’re paying more … that money comes from what the customer purchases,” he told Tom Elliott.
