Matthew Lloyd and Gerard Healy and their worry about St Kilda

Matthew Lloyd and Gerard Healy fear St Kilda may regress this season due to a lack of star power.

The Saints have narrowly missed out on finals action the past two seasons, with pressure on to crack into the top-eight in 2018 building.

Lloyd and Healy flagged their concerns on Sportsday.

“They’ll win plenty of games on effort,” Healy said.

“They’re a hard-working side.

“But the issue is that if their effort is just off … do they have enough talent to get them through to make the eight?”

Lloyd questioned who the club could lean on to stand up when it counted.

“Who are their stars?” he asked.
