Matthew Lloyd reacts to Essendon parting ways with fitness boss

On Friday morning, Essendon announced they are parting ways with their Head of High Performance Sean Murphy after a horror injury run in season 2025.

Essendon legend Matthew Lloyd reacted to the announcement on Wide World of Sports and said when you are having “one after another after another (soft tissue injuries), something has gone wrong in the program.”

“It now allows them to not duck and weave,” Lloyd said on Wide World of Sports.
