Matthew Lloyd reflects on Essendon’s 2000 premiership reunion!

Matthew Lloyd and more than a dozen other Essendon players held a reunion at the MCG on Sunday for the club’s 2000 premiership win.

Lloydy took listeners inside the day’s events on 3AW, with James Hird, Damien Hardwick and Sean Wellman all rating prominent mentions.

“It’s amazing how you don’t see each other for so long, but you just pick up from where you left off,” Lloyd said.

Lloydy even awarded a “best on ground” at the celebrations.
