Matthew Lloyd says AFL has ‘too many teams’ as Canberra joins race for 20th licence

Canberra have put their hand up to become the AFL’s 20th team, which would be after Tasmania enter the competition.

On 3AW Drive, Matthew Lloyd weighed in on the possibility of the nation’s capital becoming the 20th AFL team, saying “it would be a challenge”.

“We’ve got too many teams already,” Lloyd said on 3AW Drive.
