Jacob Weitering has been helped from the ground in the first quarter of the Origin game between Western Australia and Victoria.

The Carlton superstar faces the risk of a concussion and a potential neck injury, which will worry both the Blues and their fans alike.

Matthew Lloyd believes Weitering could face more than just a concussion due to the severity of the clash.

“He had the motion in his fingers that he is concussed,” Lloyd said on 3AW Football.

” You’re worried about a neck injury in an accident like this.”
