Matthew Lloyd’s latest comments on Essendon’s coaching search

The final presentations from the candidates for the Essendon coaching job have been completed, with a decision on the next coach likely to be announced in the next week.

On 3AW Football, Bombers great Matthew Lloyd had his say on the coaching search, and thinks the new coach will be announced on Monday or Tuesday.

“Mark McVeigh has got a young family in Sydney, so it would be very hard for him to come unless he’s the head coach,” Lloyd said on 3AW Football.
