Matthew Richardson and Tony Shaw share their views on umpire contact crackdown

Umpire contact has been a massive talking point over the past week, with the AFL looking to crack down on it due to midfielders using umpires as a “screen” to get away from their opponent.

On 3AW Football, Matthew Richardson and Tony Shaw have weighed in on the mid-season crackdown.

“Play the game, play the rules if you get away with it,” Shaw said on 3AW Football.
