Matthew Richardson voices concerns on the AFL draft compensation system

Matthew Richardson has voiced his concerns on the AFL draft compensation system, with North Melbourne landing five first-round draft picks, including pick three which they received in exchange with Essendon for Ben McKay.

Richardson believes exchanging pick three “feels like way too much” for Ben McKay and expects big things from the Kangaroos within the next few years.

“They’re not just getting a little bit rewarded Richo, they’re being given an absolute bonanza,” Sam McClure told Richo.
