‘Media pays for the game’: Sam McClure weighs in on Sam Mitchell’s Oscar Allen comments

Newly re-signed North Melbourne midfielder Luke Davies-Uniacke has said the media speculation is “just part of the game now.

However, Hawthorn coach Sam Mitchell has a conflicting view on the media coverage and speculation after the Oscar Allen situation.

“Unfortunately, whether the people like it or not, the media pays for the game, Fox Footy and Channel 7 keep the lights on at AFL House,” Sam McClure said on 3AW Football.
