Melbourne dealt double injury blow

Melbourne has been dealt a double injury blow before the season has even begun.

Star midfielder Jack Viney and key utility Tom McDonald will both be sidelined for more than a month.

The club revealed on Thursday the pair would likely miss 6-8 weeks with foot injuries.

Bayley Fritsch will make his debut against Geelong.
