Melbourne star in extreme doubt to face Brisbane on Thursday night

Star Melbourne midfielder Clayton Oliver remains in extreme doubt to take on Brisbane on Thursday night.

Oliver has been battling a hand injury for several weeks and could miss the marquee showdown against the Lions, according to 3AW sports reporter Jon Anderson.

“I’d be interested to see whether he runs out or not,” Anderson said on 3AW Breakfast.

“I reckon there’s a fair chance he won’t.”

Melbourne has the bye coming up in Round 6, before the traditional Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond.
