Melbourne’s Lord Mayor reacts to snap lockdown announcement

The Lord Mayor of Melbourne has urged Melburnians to “do the right thing” over the next five days to ensure the snap lockdown doesn’t get extended.

She said it was devastating news for businesses in the city, particularly ahead of what was going to be a huge weekend.

“Let’s just focus on getting ourselves open again,” Sally Capp told Tom Elliott.
