Milo Yiannopoulos and his promoters will be getting a bill of at least $50,000 to cover the cost of the police presence required to handle protests outside his event in Kensington on Monday night.

Hundreds of police were called in to separate the groups of extreme Left-wing activitists and Yiannopoulos fans on Racecourse Road.

Police Minister Lisa Neville told Tom Elliott those behind the event would be covering the costs, a bill she expects to be at least $50,000.

“They’ll certainly be getting a bill,” Ms Neville said.
