Video: Inside Kensington’s ugly Milo Yiannopoulos clash

There were violent scenes in Kensington as protest groups clashed over an event featuring controversial commentator Milo Yiannopoulos.

Yiannopoulos was speaking at an event in Kensington on Monday. Once that news became public, dozens of Left-wing protesters made their way from the CBD to Racecourse Road.

They were met by those who support Yiannopoulos.

Things quickly became ugly, with dozens of police needed to intervene.

The footage shows Right-wing protesters yelling “Do you love Australia”, with “Black power” yelled in response.
