Neil Balme’s advice for those considering appealing a Tribunal decision

Neil Balme has some advice for those who are considering appealing a Tribunal decision.

Don’t.

“It is impossible to get anything up at the appeal,” Balme told 3AW Football on Thursday night.

“Don’t go to the appeal. Ever.”

It follows Western Bulldogs’ AFLW skipper Katie Brennan’s unsuccessful appeal, which sees her out of the Grand Final.

Balme spoke to 3AW Football ahead of the season opener against Carlton.

He said he doesn’t think the Tigers will be playing the same way in 2018 as they did in their premiership year.

“It’s hard to reproduce it (premiership football), and if you try to reproduce it, you probably won’t,” he said.

“Our blokes have just prepared for this year.”
