Nic Newman comes to Harry McKay’s defence after clutch goal against Lions

Carlton defender Nic Newman has come to the defence of Harry McKay after the big forward kicked the match winning goal against the Lions at the Gabba.

Newman said it was one of the great wins of his career, and detailed how proud he was of McKay after the match.

“I’m looking forward to the commentary about him this week,” Newman said.
