Nic Newman sheds light on new off-field role following serious injury

Nic Newman is turning his attention to a new off-field role after succumbing to a knee injury earlier this year.

The dashing defender is out for the season, but he told Wide World of Sports he’ll still be a constant feature around the club on match day.

“I love the environment of a footy club,” he said on 3AW.

“I love the game and I’ll definitely stay involved, I’ll be on the bench helping out.”
