‘Nonsense’: Neil Mitchell hits out at ‘idiots’ victim blaming Angus Brayshaw

Neil Mitchell has taken aim at the “idiots” in the community who believe Melbourne midfielder Angus Brayshaw shouldn’t have been playing on Thursday night due to his history with concussion.

In a well-publicised incident, Brayshaw was knocked out by Collingwood defender Brayden Maynard in the AFL qualifying final when he went to smother Brayshaw’s kick.

Caller Deb suggested players who wear a helmet shouldn’t be allowed to play unless they sign a waiver, a suggestion the 3AW Mornings host didn’t agree with.
