North Melbourne coach forced to apologise following derogatory slur
North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson has apologised after launching a expletive-laden tirade at St Kilda players following Jimmy Webster’s hit on Jy Simpkin during a practice game on Sunday.
Clarkson said he was remorseful for the quarter-time spray, with Channel 9 chief football reporter saying Clarkson has a pattern of hot-headed behaviour.

“We know (Alastair Clarkson) is a hot-head and has got a temper,” he told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.
“You can give a spray and have a go at someone in a football context without using a derogeratly term which he did.”
