North Melbourne president speaks on Kane Cornes’ media ban

In April, North Melbourne put a media ban on footy media personality Kane Cornes, after they said he made “personal and vindictive” comments against the club.

North Melbourne President Sonja Hood joined 3AW Football and said the club haven’t “made amends” with Cornes, despite Hood and CEO Jennifer Watt meeting with the head of Channel 7 Sport Chris Jones.

“We had a really open conversation (with Channel 7) about our decision to ban Kane from the rooms,” Hood said.
