Zach Merrett meeting with Sam Mitchell is a “shocking” look and “reflects poorly” on Essendon, according to Jon Anderson.

Merrett’s decision to meet with the Hawthorn coach has sent shockwaves through the footy world, with the Bombers still determined to hold him to the final two years of his contract.

Speaking on 3AW Breakfast, Ando said the whole episode was “not a good scenario” for anyone.
