‘Not a misstep’: Jimmy Bartel doubles down on his strong Geelong criticism

Jimmy Bartel has turned up the heat on his former club, in light of the concussion saga down at Geelong.

The Cats great called out the club on the Today Show on the weekend, questioning whether it was “incompetence or a deceitful act” by the club for defender Jake Kolodjashnij to sign a secret waiver to make him liable for future concussions, and not the club.

And he doubled down on his criticism on Sports Today on Monday night.

“Geelong’s issue for me, is the avoidance of proper governance and process,” Bartel said.

“It’s not a misstep.”
