RUMOUR CONFIRMED

Last week’s truck crash that saw 20 tonnes of chicken nuggets spill across the Hume Freeway has had a silver lining for charities.

Nugget-lovers bemoaned the waste of the one million nuggets, mostly still boxed, but the Rumour File has confirmed they found a worthy home.

After inspection the good nuggets were put into cold storage and are being served up in the Salvation Army’s charity meal centres.

Anyone who has an emormous amount of dipping sauce is urged to contact the Salvos…
