Collingwood great Tony Shaw has revealed he’ll be the one handing over the Premiership Cup should the Pies win on Saturday.

Speaking on Macquarie Sports Radio, Shawry described the honour as “one of the great joys” of his life.

“To be bestowed this honour by the club, it’s something I’ll be thinking about on my little bed as I’m drawing my last breath,” he said.

3AW Football commentator and 1990 Premiership Captain, Shaw played 313 games for the Magpies and lead them to the 1990 flag after years of disappointment, and even claimed the Norm Smith medal in that win over Essendon.

Former Eagles player Dean Kemp will present the cup should West Coast win the Premiership.
