Origin selector drops early selection prediction

Victorian State of Origin chief selector Garry Lyon has provided an early insight into just how star-studded the starting midfield could be.

Representation footy will return in February as Victoria takes on Western Australia in a one-off match at Optus Stadium.

After being named chairman of selectors for the squad, Lyon named the potential starting ruck and midfield for the much-anticipated clash.
