‘Outside the box’: Sam McClure’s idea on how the Tassie Devils could land Nick Daicos

Sam McClure has spoken on the interview he recently conducted with Collingwood star Nick Daicos, who said he’d “never rule anything out” when it came to a move to Tasmania.

Daicos is contracted with the Pies until the end of 2029, but McClure said the young gun clearly has to be the “number one target” for the AFL’s 19th team.

And he’s come up with an idea for Tasmania’s Head of Recruiting and former Collingwood list manager Derek Hine.
