‘People will go nuts’: Collingwood CEO’s big Grand Final start time call

Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly is urging the AFL to make the switch and start the Grand Final in the twilight.

The AFL has resisted the temptation to move the start time later, preferring to stick with the traditional 2:30pm bounce.

But Kelly says it’s time for a change, telling 3AW Football it would be beneficial for everyone in the game.

“People will go nuts when I say this,” he said.

“Let’s just go to a twilight grand final – give it up.”
