An emotional Jimmy Bartel admits to “the sooks” watching Geelong play finals

Jimmy Bartel has opened up about watching his old side in the finals.

Bartel played 305 games for Geelong before retiring after last year’s Prelim, which the Cats lost to Sydney.

He told 3AW Football he’s found it hard to watch on from the sidelines at times.

“This is probably the third time this year I’ve had the sooks,” Bartel said in the lead-up to the Geelong v Richmond Qualifying Final.

“I’m about to drop the bottom lip!”
