Cameron Ling fires back at critics of Dangerwood
Cameron Ling has fired back at critics of the Cats.
A number of media personnel have recently made mention that Geelong would not win the premiership were it not for superstars Patrick Dangerfield and Joel Selwood.
The Cats lost to Sydney on Friday night in their first match without Dangerfield since he joined the club from Adelaide.
Caro: “A learned football person told me Geelong is 8th without Dangerfield, at best.”
Lethal: “I don’t know if I’d argue against that.”

But Lingy hit back on 3AW Football’s Sunday Roast, saying it’s a “ridiculous” proposition.
“What if you took Dustin Martin and Alex Rance out of Richmond? If you took Paddy Ryder and Robbie Gray out of Port Adelaide?” Lingy said.
“If Buddy Franklin and Josh Kennedy weren’t playing for the Swans, they wouldn’t win the premiership either.”
