Dwayne Russell sledges MRP for “wimping out” after clearing Sam Mitchell

Dwayne Russell has sledged the MRP for failing to sanction Sam Mitchell.

Mitchell and Geelong captain Joel Selwood clashed in Thursday’s match at Domain Stadium.

While Selwood was offered a $1000 fine on Monday for engaging in rough conduct, Mitchell was cleared for his part in the stoush.

On Sportsday, Dwayne said the MRP “wimped out”.

“If that’s not a fine for wrestling, I’m not sure what is,” he said.

Dwayne also said the upcoming Brisbane v GWS match might draw one of the lowest crowds of all time.
