Richo and Lingy blast fans who abused Isaac Smith online

Matthew Richardson has ripped into footy fans who abused Hawk Isaac Smith on social media.

Smith told Channel 9 his social media has been “pretty interesting” since he missed a shot on the siren that would have won Saturday’s game against Geelong.

It’s the second time Smith has missed a potential match-winner against the Cats.

But Richo told 3AW Football abusing him online is an “absolute disgrace”.

“He has played in three premierships, been a great player,” Richo said on Sunday.

“It’s not acceptable.”

Cameron Ling said some of the comments had made him angry.
