‘Poison’: Eddie McGuire paints grim picture of Western Bulldogs
Former Collingwood president Eddie McGuire says life at the Western Bulldogs could become “poison pretty quickly” as a result of high-profile senior players not playing.
Bailey Dale, Jack Macrae and Caleb Daniel have all either spent time out of the AFL team or started as a sub during the first five games of the season.
McGuire said based on his experience at club land, he could see a “disconnect” emerging at the club as the fall out of the side’s loss to Essendon Friday night continues.

“It does seem at the moment there is a disconnect,” McGuire said on the Eddie and Jimmy podcast.
“If you have decorated senior players who are fit and they’re not getting a game, the world gets poison pretty quickly,”
