Port Adelaide football boss reveals fresh information on nature of Willie Rioli abuse

Questions have been raised as to what caused Port Adelaide’s Willie Rioli to threaten opposition players on three different occasions.

Port Adelaide General Manager of Football Chris Davies joined 3AW Football and revealed information on the nature of abuse toward Willie Rioli.

“Willie Rioli gets racially abused almost every day, when he does something good or bad in people’s eyes,” Davies said.

“I certainly don’t think the media in some quarters are educated enough to be able to adequately deal with not just the one-dimensional aspect of their reporting, there are so many more layers.”
