Port Adelaide star calls for greater clarity after Dan Butler suspension

Port Adelaide star Connor Rozee has called for greater clarity on what is and isn’t allowed when it comes to tackling after Dan Butler was handed a one-game ban for a tackle on Nick Blakey that sparked a strong reaction from two AFL greats on 3AW.

Rozee told 3AW news of Butler’s suspension had filtered into the Port Adelaide rooms in the moments before they ran out against the Western Bulldogs on Friday night.

“I thought he was pretty stiff, to be honest,” Rozee said.
